HOW IS A DILAPIDATION SURVEY REPORT PRESENTED?
Traditionally, dilapidation survey reports have been in a narrative format accompanied by a copious amount of photographs. We can provide reports in this format but with experience, we have found that narrated video footage provides a more inclusive record of property and structure. Video footage not only provides a true picture of a building’s condition but also allows the viewer a greater understanding of relative distance, depth and overall size of defects and building cond. All video footage is recorded on broadcast quality equipment which ensures the highest quality of record.Narrated video reports are provided on CD or DVD media to suit client computer capabilities and if appropriate, these reports are supplemented with narrative reports and still images. Depending on the size of the project, we are also able to upload footage to client mainframes or allow client password-access to our secure footage database.
